AN EXCEPTIONAL LOCATION

ART PROJET
The Four Seasons Hotel is part of an ambitious project to restore seven historical buildings in
the heart of the city as proof that past and present can coexist in the twenty-first century, just as the art of the past and present can complement each other and be perceived as a harmonious whole. This was the idea that planted the seeds of an art project I devised over the course of six years, while the hotel was being built.

An Art Collecion within the privileged setting in one of the mos important hotels of the
International Four Seasons chain.
And so, for each different part of the hotel, I had to become a couturier and design tailor-made art: different outfits for the same wardrobe. A bold collection, to be sure, but one that also naturally meshed with the interior designer’s concepts to create a unique atmosphere, one that guests would always remember. In short, the collection had to offer visitors a truly unique experience.
Today, hotel patrons actively seek out this kind of unique experiences and are eager to become better acquainted with the culture and art of the places they visit.
The Four Seasons Madrid offers the experience of a close encounter with works by both emerging and consecrated Spanish artists displayed on the walls throughout the hotel: an art collection comprising one thousand five hundred pieces.
