Paloma Fernández-Iriondo studied History of Art. Her long professional career began at Sotheby’s in 1989 where she lead the Old Master Paintings Department in Spain, organizing auctions always with an eye on the International art market attending auctions in London and New York, the historical world art centers. She left Sotheby’s in 2000 to become the director of an important Private Collection, helping to build one of the most  outstanding Spanish Art Collections from XVI to XX Century curating and purchasing artworks worldwide. 

In 2015 she accepts a new project that will mean a new challenge in her career creating a collection of 1.500 artworks for the Four Seasons Hotel in Madrid. On the Consulting part with over 30 years working in the national and International art market, Paloma has a wealthy  experience in auction management and art advisory, forging a career based on an academic and rigorous vision, her capacity to visualize the different factors that are involved in an art deal with a sharp eye on International markets.
